TropiCon Book Expo, known for its southern beach locations and outstanding author participation, takes a break from the beach and palm trees to bring its parties, slate of internationally known authors, and an interactive book signing to the Lone Star State in a one-of-a-kind event that will thrill avid readers.
On November 13 & 14, 2026, TropiCon is hosting a two-day event that’ll provide local readers the chance to interact with a slate of New York Times, USA Today, Amazon Best Selling, and award-winning authors.
Featured authors include New York Times and Internationally Bestselling author Sherrilyn Kenyon, New York Times authors Carolyn Brown and Shayla Black, USA Today Bestselling authors Jamie Lewis and Mariah Kingsley, Amazon Bestsellers, local favorites and many more.
Friday, November 13th, participants will have the opportunity to meet and mingle with these well-known authors through author panels and TropiCon's signature Book Birthday Bash where Flamingo VIP's will get exclusive first access to our authors' brand new releases.
On Saturday, November 14th, authors of all genres and vendors of unique and varied items set up in trade show fashion to sell autographed books and swag that will appeal to every reader’s interests.
This is an all-genre event and all ages are welcome.

Friday the 13th events are optional and author participation will vary based on author availability.
